Hello SUFF Friends!

Welcome back. It’s with great anticipation that we head into 2011 as we turn 5 this year! After a massive 2010 festival (thanks to everyone who came, supported, watched, ate, drank, loved, laughed, and cried!), we are churning the wheels of crazy imagination to bring you an even bigger 2011 festival!

Yet again we’re receiving many fantastic entries – and if you’re an independent, new or emerging filmmaker it’s not too late to enter your film. (If you’re not a filmmaker, why not send us a suggestion if there is something you would like to see at the 2011 festival? We’re open to suggestion!)

We are also launching a totally legal competition in which everyone can participate. We’d love to see how creative you could get! All the details later on in this newsletter.

Finally, if you know someone who you think would enjoy SUFF, please encourage them to get involved – you can follow our updates via:

Twitter / Facebook fan page / Facebook group / Follow our blog / Connect with us on Linked In / Share this newsletter (link at the end) / Be a fan via MySpace / And of course there’s always our website.

However, if you wish to support the festival with your real, physical self - please send an email to: stephanie@suff.com.au

Happy reading!

Love the SUFF 2011 team

PS The new SUFF website is due to be launched JULY 1st and we can’t escape technology so the new SUFF iphone app is on its way also! Keep your eyes peeled!

Volunteers, SUFF 2010.

The good folks at Mu-Meson Archives serve up some fantastic cult, conspiracy and often hard-to-find films at their micro cinema. The cost is $10 measly dollars, which supports their continued (and pretty wild!) programming. For what’s on, please visit www.MuMeson.org
