THE ORGANIST with Q&A

NSW PREMIERE! SATURDAY 14TH SEPT 7:30PM

Q&A with Director Andy Burkitt and actor Jack Braddy - hosted by Alexei Toliopoulos.

An organ-procurement worker discovers his job is a front for a cannibalistic operation, leading to a darkly comedic and ethically twisted battle against a sinister HR department.

In this deliciously macabre Melbourne-shot indie black comedy, Graeme Sloane (Jack Braddy) discovers that his organ-procurement job is a front for feeding a wealthy cannibal. This charismatic Hannibal Lecter type has invited Graeme over for dinner, leading to a shocking revelation and an ethically questionable meeting with HR. Forced into compliance, Graeme’s moral compass is put to the test. But when he meets his next donor target, a plan is devised to make things right.

Andy Burkitt’s feature directorial debut is morbid yet charming, blending absurdity with a darkly twisted plot. The energy of the local cast and the urge to uncover the next unsettling reveal keep audiences captivated. One of best new Australian films you will see this year!
