Two men and a not-so-dead corpse. What could go wrong?
In an Australian near dystopian future, lifelong friends, Mac (Craig Alexander) and Fettes (Justin Hosking), are undervalued, broke orderlies. They hatch a plan to harvest organs from a freshly deceased Jane Doe but when she unexpectedly awakens on the operating table, the duo faces a moral and logistical nightmare. Inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s short story ‘The Body Snatcher’ and hot off its Raindance world premiere, this Canberra-made feature is an ambitious and unique dark comedy that offers a fresh take on the genre, delivering both thrills and thought-provoking commentary.
Screening Saturday 13 Sept 5:30pm
